The next TPF Invitational...

I'm thinking Saturday, February 26th.... earlier in the day than the last one. Say........ 3 or 4:00 ET? How does that sound to people?

I'm thinking we'll have the best turnout on a weekend during the day, as opposed to a weeknight. Tell me if I'm wrong. Weeknights are actually better for me, but with people in different time zones and most people going to day jobs and such....

Speak up now.

PShabi 02-02-05 01:40 PM

Let's do it, uh let's do it
let's do it with the disco fluid.

Let's do it, let's do it
put your mind and your body into it.

Aequitas58 02-02-05 03:49 PM

Should work for me.

GeoffM 02-02-05 04:00 PM

Why not Sunday :( ?

Usually Saturday 3 or 4, I'm at the in-between stage of hungover and getting drunk all over again :D .

SirFWALGMan 02-02-05 04:01 PM

Too Early..

3-4 is a little early for me. I would prefer 8-9ish. They really do not take very long.

GeoffM 02-02-05 04:31 PM

8-9, I can't even see straight or ones.

Work with me here people. :(

Aequitas58 02-02-05 05:51 PM

9pm on a Saturday night? I doubt that'll work for me. Anyone else?

Talking Poker 02-02-05 05:58 PM

Yeah, I don't think a Saturday night is a good idea... that's why I suggested earlier in the day. Plus, keep in mind that guys like TajaUK and the Fonz, etc. are 5 hours ahead of the east coast.

Saturday vs. Sunday makes no difference to me though. I only suggested Saturday because the last one was on Sunday...

TajaUk 02-02-05 07:41 PM

I dont care what day, as long as it starts before 5pm EST.

omahilo 02-02-05 08:10 PM

I think like 1 PM Sunday the 27th would be fine...

nutbag 02-02-05 09:09 PM

Maybe that handy poll feature would be nice for this, with TP putting up the times he would be willing to hold the tourney.

Aequitas58 02-02-05 09:15 PM

Ding Ding Ding!!!

Tuff Luck 02-02-05 09:34 PM

How's it going to work? I wasn't around when you guys had the last one.

ChipFish 02-02-05 10:52 PM

I will win it....
Everyone else will fight over the scraps.
:p

DCopper04 02-02-05 11:11 PM

I have no idea if I will be able to play this far in advance, but generally Sundays would be more convenient for me than Saturdays. As Geoff pointed out, many people might not be mentally prepared for a tourney on Saturday......

ChipFish 02-03-05 12:05 AM

Good, then Saturday it is.

Talking Poker 02-03-05 12:41 AM

Maybe I'll put together a poll.... I figured an open discussion thread would at least give me an idea of a starting point, and right now, it's looking like Sunday afternoon sometime is going to be the best.

Maybe 3:00 ET on 2/27. Something like that.

drewjax 02-03-05 01:31 AM

I think that would be the best for the masses. Saturday is tough. Most people are getting ready to hit the booze, play some poker, chase some tail, or a combination of the above!

fonzerelli_79 02-03-05 07:43 AM

yeah that would suit me better

though im actually going down to sheffield in england for a tournament on the 26th or 27th - ill find out tonight which one it is

(Friday night might be better for me in general...ill make a tourney one day!)

lightfungus 02-04-05 01:29 AM

I like sunday afternoons. Football is over...so i need a filler :)

drewjax 02-04-05 02:27 AM

Fonz, are you traveling there just for this tourney? Sweet. Where do you live? Why is this such a special tourney? Keep us updated.

junYUN 02-05-05 01:27 AM

sunday 3 est works for me.

fonzerelli_79 02-06-05 06:05 AM

no its a taekwondo tournament, not poker

drewjax 02-07-05 03:36 AM

Ok, sorry dont kick my ass!! lol
