Hello Brennon,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

Congratulations on qualifying for the Biggest Bonus Ever!

ooops. My bad. I found the $100 bonus.

I don't know how much I'll be able to clear with $1 sng's though.

Robbie Robb 07-31-09 03:50 PM

Play 12 at a time. 10 hours a day. :)

Invigilator 07-31-09 05:39 PM

ahhhh, I like that it is released in $10 bunches. My last bonus was released in 20's. Yeah, I can get some o' that.

How many points do you get per sng?

Fildy 07-31-09 06:34 PM

No clue tbh, but after a session of 12 tables, 3.30s and 6.50 i get like 50+ ftps.

of course I normally play during happy hour and it looks as if its only base FTP's that are counted in this, so it will be a little tougher.

Robbie Robb 07-31-09 07:01 PM

For a $10+1 SNG I get 7 FTP points so each one is worth $0.42 for this promotion. The $20+2 get me 14 points. So it looks like 7/$1 rake.

Talking Poker 08-01-09 02:01 PM

Correct, it's 7 points per $1 of rake. So at 6 cents per point, you're basically getting 42 cents off each dollar of juice you pay.

Of course, if you have rakeback, the additional 27 cents per $1 you would normally get back is reduced to about 16 cents per $1 while you clear the bonus.

But in the end, that's 58 cents back per $1 of rake paid (plus FPPs) while you clear the bonus. Not too shabi, if my math is right.

thrash1294 08-02-09 07:01 PM

The rakeback reduction does suck:mad::mad::mad::talktothehand

Talking Poker 08-03-09 07:24 PM

So you are one of the people who prefers to get 27 cents per dollar back instead of 58?

That complaint always makes me

thrash1294 08-03-09 08:01 PM

I want both the Bonus and my 27%

JDMcNugent7 08-04-09 03:03 AM

same thing when ppl complain about paying lots of taxes...
ya it sucks, but the more u pay in taxes the more u made so

I wish I was paying millions in taxes every year

Spuddy 08-04-09 11:48 PM

I find it quite odd, I got $300 and everyone else $200 or else....... hmmmm...... weird

PShabi 08-06-09 03:44 PM

How clever! I thought I got $200, but it's only $100. Anyway, decided to dust off the old mouse pad and deposit $1k. Let's see how much money I can lose clearing this bonus. Gonna play $1/$2 LHE.

Also: Is depositing with a credit card supposed to be this easy?

PShabi 08-06-09 05:47 PM

First online session in a long while complete. Cleared $10 of the bonus in around 510 hands of $1/$2 LHE 6max. Lost $5 playing. Up $5 so far!!!!!!! Woot Woot.

It was fun and I was focused 90% of the time. That's a very big reason I quit playing online. Well, losing was the reason, but lack of focus played some role in it. I was just mashing buttons half the time with my mind wandering about everything other than poker. As usual, I find that when I pay attention I play better. Weird.

Anyway, maybe this will springboard me into playing online again. I have played around 250 live hours in the last 5 months, FWIW. All LHE.

Talking Poker 08-06-09 10:59 PM

Live limit? Ugh...

Let's see... 250 hours of live limit.... so you've played around 6-7k hands? I think you could have gotten that same volume in online in under 20 hours, and that's if you only 4 table!

So long, 230 hours of life! (Not counting driving time)

PShabi 08-06-09 11:05 PM

Well, according to recent results, I could've lost a lot of fucking money in those 20 online hours. Instead, I made a decent amount of money, got drunk for next to nothing, and got a bunch of free meals out of it.

So.....lose the house or make money? I'll make the money. :D

Also, it's probably between 8-9k hands. LHE w/ regs (shitty, shitty, regs) is a pretty fast moving game.

Talking Poker 08-06-09 11:24 PM

I actually very recently started playing some 6 max limit online again, just to mix things up... and IMO, these are easily the worst players online. I'd be amazed if you couldn't (easily) beat these games in the long run.

No "free" drinks or meals... but then again, the rake is less and you're not tipping. So order a pizza and a six pack, and you should still come out ahead.

PShabi 08-06-09 11:47 PM

I was dabbling in that game a couple of months ago (Feb) and was running terribly. Basically felt like I didn't know how to play poker anymore. Wasn't just losing but was losing EVERY session. I played 700ish hands today at 6max lhe $1/2. Still lost but felt like I was playing well.
