My Poker 2011 - inspired by jdiana

jdiana's railbird post inspired this, especially his "1/1 unbeatable" comment.

At the beginning of 2011, I withdrew most of my online funds in advance of the bills coming for my stepdaughter's wedding. I left some in 'Stars and played some stud/8 tournies with some success. But that's not the point.

I left $50 on 'Tilt and decided to try something. I started playing $2 6 max NLHE, 4-6 tables. In 20k hands before Black Friday, I had run the roll up to just over $120 and was starting to play $5 NLHE 6 max. Oh, well, that money is still in limbo.

After that I put $54 (the min) on Bodog and started playing 5NL 6 max there. After 5k hands I have $130 in the roll.

The point is, to all those nimrods who claim you can't make win at the micros - IT IS INSANELY EASY TO WIN AT THE MICROS. :D

I agree somewhat. In the casino that offers 1/1 not only is thier no rakeback but they take out for a high hand jackpot too. I have browsed 2+2 and in the Mohegan Sun is where I heard 1/1 isn't worth playing.

Honestly I thought that 1/1 was very beatable until I read these posts. The action is very loose and one day turned 100 into 700 playing all day 1/1. I guess I'm gullibal sp? and will believe anything.

Congrats on building your roll up and good luck with it.
