When given the option...
...which do you prefer?

I find it faster to sort out the number of cards per suit u have. Its almost impossible to misread a flush with the 4-color deck
I've never played with a 4 color deck, and I never will. Not until they become standard in live action games, which is never gonna happen.
4 colour decks are the bomb, but TP has a valid point. Whenever I play live now it fucks with my head. I will still always use 4 colour decks when given the option though.
Unless ur color blind or don't know basic shapes -i dont get the point of using a 4 color deck.
I was using 4-color for a while, but I switched back to standard b/c it was always more comfortable. *shrug*
I guess I don't belong to the cool kids. 4 color decks are way better than standard decks.
I'm with JD. I think not being able to tell a spade from a club would be like not being able to tell a King from a Jack. I don't get it.
If you can't see the cards, ask the dealer,
or get glasses. If you play enough, you don't have any problems, If you do, don't play till after your nap. |
I don't much care for the 4 color deck but alot of people I know use them when they multi-table. If your playing 4 or 5 tables at a time it makes it easier to see flush draws. Personaly though, I can't stand it.
standard, of course.
the key here is the shapes, not the colors. because if ur color-blind, it doesnt matter to u if its 2- or 4-color. to u its all white, black and grey anyway. lol if the spades are easily distinguishable from the clubs, thats all u need... |
I've never used or seen 4 color decks.
Silly question coming your way. What are the 4 colors used in the 4 color deck? My choice is the standard red/black. Why bother messing with a good thing? |
Blue - Diamonds
