Here's the deal about "Alien Poker": they are giving players money so they can tweak their poker site. You don't get to keep the money they put in your account, but they do give you 0.25 cents per hand played. They say they should be done testing in December 15th or earlier.

So why bother? Sounds like Play Money to me.

I assume he is saying you get .25 for each hand you play with the play money to keep after testing.

Well, I don't believe that then. I'm "skeptical," to say the least. If they are giving you "play money" and you are ricking nothing, and they are willing to pay you 25 cents per hand that you play (with play money!), well, that just doesn't make sense.

That's $250 per 1000 hands played!

Edit: Maybe it's true... I'm just saying, I'd be skeptical. VERY skeptical. But if you don't have to deposit, there is no risk, so why not give it a shot....

I signed up for heck of it so far 2 people on site and $0 in my account but the funny thing is there is a way to deposit using credit card. If they are in beta why is it possible to deposit.

Alien Poker is PAYING YOU to test our software! Until December 15, 2006 (or earlier if all goes well) we will be beta testing. We have set aside thousands of dollars for testing and this pool of money will be disbursed at the rate of $0.25 per hand played at the end of the test. You will be given test money to play with after you have registered. Be sure to give our customer service department feedback on our games.

if you really get .25 cents per hand played that is alot of money to earn but the thing is if they go under before December 15th you will never see any of that money.

I wouldnt see why they would lie about this promo if they want to keep a player base at their site tho...

so who knows....

if the game play becomes normal, let me know, I might give it a try.

I suggest if you are interested sign up because even though its not said im guesing when they hit a certain number of players they will stop taking them till after beta.

This is ALMOST as crazy as someone paying people a nickel for each post that they make on a poker forum!!!

yea I only started with $200, they most likley have a set amount of money they are spending on users and maybe they are comming to end of it.

That's good to know. Although, it would be hard to do so. At one point today there was no one seated at any of the cash tables.

I have been signed up for a sit and go for 2 days now maybe it will start in a week.

Here's the deal... You have to signup of the poker club under my account. its under your play real money amount. i emailed support and they said they would start keeping track of points, which can be exchanged for cash, in a few days. looks promising.
