I don't know the flow of the game up to this point, obviously, but looking at this hand alone, I don't really like how JD played it.

BTW - how in the world did you get JDags to play 3/6 HU???

JDMcNugent7 02-25-07 01:57 AM

i was sittin alone and he just sat.
he played damn good too, i thought he would be careless, but he played super tight.

i dont like how i played the hand either i was on tilt from being really sick and BORED out of my mind right now while my friends are calling me telling me how much fun they are having.

Boobie Lover 02-25-07 02:46 AM

T8 is awful against any hand range there.

JDMcNugent7 02-25-07 02:47 AM

except the hand he had. obv im a genius.

Gordogg 02-25-07 07:01 AM

wahhh, I"m winning several grand a month but I'm missing out playing with my friends, woe is me, stfu please once and for all, no more whining.

JDMcNugent7 02-25-07 02:11 PM

fuck you. you have no idea how sick i am and how much it sucks b/c contrary to what you say, I complain very little. i missed my entire 2nd semester senior year, i take 9 pills a day, most with annoying side effects cuz they cant find out what im allergic to. ive been in the ER 3 times in the last month. Last time it got really bad I had to go in a helicopter and I was told I was less than an hour away from my throat being complete swollen and dying.
its fun to never know when the next allergic reaction is gonna happen, and when they do i take medicine that slows my immune system, so when i get sick, i get really sick. i'd rather hang out with friends anyday than be this sick and playing poker.

Wow.... that sounds bad. And I thought I had bad allergies. I got the full bloodwork test done a few years ago, and the allergist said he had never seen anything like it - I assume you've had this test done, where they basically test you for EVERYTING (it's literally hundreds of things) and then measure your ___ levels (I forget the acronym). I don't react anything like you do though. I've only been to the er once (after eating Talapia), and I don't get "sick" like you do.

Sucks. And suckier that your friends call you and tell you what you are missing. WTF?

juiCe[3x] 02-25-07 07:11 PM

Wow that sucks. Only thing that I have is Asthma and have had my throat close once because I got crop. I'm allergic to any animal with hair so my asthma acts up around that but nothing as bad as you since I can control mine. I hope you get better and they find out what your allergic to.

JDMcNugent7 02-25-07 08:11 PM

ive had absolutely everything done that any doctor can think of no joke. I've stumped 3 major allergy doctors so far and they always just refer me to the next. We get sent the lengthy write-ups and health articles that go out all about me to other hospitals and allergy doctors. We redid certain parts of the house, got rid of every plant, gave our pets to my grandparents, everything you can think of and nothing helps. I even had to get tested for being allergic to my own blood. When I come in to the hospital I never see just one doctor. Most know me by name and usually at least 5 come in the room to see my hives if I have them, or just talk about what it could be, apparently I'm a very rare case.
Right now I have strep throat which comes with a fever, and allergic reaction with my eye almost shut. This isn't a constant thing right now, but 2nd semester of Highschool it pretty much was. now it comes at random times and usually lasts anywhere from a few hours to a week.

My friends are awesome they were trying to be nice and see how I was and if I was okay to come out yet. 2 of them ended up coming up to hang out in the room so it was cool.

Talk about Karma at least giving you a decent balance. If you're gonna be restricted to a bed or room from some unknown illness that you can't solve...might as well give you the gift of being good at internet poker.

Talking Poker 02-25-07 10:11 PM

Wow. You're quite the special boy, huh? I'm sure you and your Doctors have thought of anything and everything and you've done all those food logs and everything else... What a pain in the ass.

My money is still on food allergies though. For 30 years, I knew I had bad allergies (dust, pollen, mold, pet dander, etc), but thought I had NO food allergies. Turns out after my little trip to the hospital, the Allergy Dr. told me I have the single worse seafood allergies he has ever seen in 30 years (my Dad is allergic to seafood too). Interesting, since I had eaten seafood hundreds of times. I guess you can be fine over and over and over, but then one time - seemingly randomly - it could kill you.

My completely uneducated guess (I'm putting you on a hand here) says that you're allergic to something super common in food - like Wheat. I think you only react to it at certain times though, and probably in combination with another irritant, so GL figuring out what it is.

Dr. TP signing off.

P.S. I hope you have good health insurance. :(

GTDawg 02-25-07 11:38 PM

My mom's side of the family has that whole "wheat" allergy. She's allergic to wheat gluten. Once they get to late 40ish, when they eat bread/pasta/etc later, they start to itch. It's not on the the level of throat closure or anything like that.

From the way JD is talking about it...I'd guess it is something crazy like a protein or something that his body creates that, for whatever reason, his body doesn't like. Or maybe you are allergic to something they put in drinking water.

The only thing I can picture is "Joey" sitting in his bubble boy setup at college playing poker through those giant rubber gloves attached to the bubble while his girlfriend pokes the outside of the bubble and his friends throw a football up against the other side.

JDMcNugent7 02-26-07 12:40 AM

loll if i were in a bubble thats exactly wut would be happening.
and ya ive thought of everything like u guys are, so have my doctors, theres no pattern to it that anyone can see, it makes no sense.

omahilo 02-26-07 10:16 AM

maybe your allergic to water lol
