Not bad for a complete nit...

Any comments on these stats (I know, small sample size), are appreciated.

MAYHEM45 02-23-07 04:31 PM

Raise more. Nice W$@SD tho. :D

JDMcNugent7 02-23-07 04:49 PM

wow u really are a complete nit, that has got to get boring.
whatever works tho.

Reel Deal 02-23-07 04:58 PM

Don't forget this is full ring... and yeah compared to 6-max or HU, this is definitely less action. But it must suit my game well b/c I haven't had a run like this at the other levels.

Talking Poker 02-23-07 05:20 PM

This number means he's running really good. Don't expect that one to hold up as you get a larger sample size.

Raise more often preflop, for sure, and I like to play more hands too, but I know nits like JD have success playing super tight  so I'm sure you can too.

Edit: Didn't realize thid was full ring. My comments hold up, except for the play more hands one. Just limp in a little less and raise more often.

Reel Deal 02-23-07 05:27 PM

I'm definitely looking to raise more PF in MP and LP... I did more of that this past session and left up $350 even after losing a $200+ pot to a suck-out rivered flush after all the $ went in. I'm seeing that most of the Taggy players at these tables have a PFR number around 8-10. I'll get a better feel the more I play these tables but I think that's a good range to shoot for.

Was very cool to have one of my best sessions the first time I had PA-HUD up and running... great program.

JDMcNugent7 02-23-07 05:28 PM

i forgot this was FR too, so just keep winning.

Robbr25 02-23-07 07:31 PM

Number of hands played is fine.
Raise more preflop, can't see the rest of the agression numbers.

Talking Poker 02-24-07 12:23 AM

Not to establish a winrate or W$SD numbers, it's not. 1000 hands is nothing. For VPIP/PFR though, sure...

JDMcNugent7 02-24-07 01:35 AM

hand 1 seems like a pretty standard fold, esp for full ring.

sjay2k 02-24-07 01:41 AM

gack, full ring? why?

you need to play more hands to get a real idea of where you're at

but you probably should raise more preflop

Robbr25 02-24-07 02:41 AM

I meant VPIP, sorry

Zybomb 02-24-07 04:19 AM

hand 1 is a fold yes.

I also dislike 3 betting in that spot. Id rather just call, since three betting folds out KQ/KJ type hands which may give you more action later on

JDMcNugent7 02-24-07 04:32 AM

damnit u have the nut FD in hand 1 dont u.
u played it fine but i'd 3bet more if i was gonna 3bet.

Reel Deal 02-24-07 08:16 AM

I'm a fan of intense boredom... it builds character. You should try it.

Reel Deal 02-24-07 09:11 AM

Great point Z, thanks.
