Annie Duke's new pro league

Meh. I can understand how the name pros want to capitalize on their fame, but the point of a poker tournament is the best/luckiest player wins. A member's only scenario makes it seem that they are afraid of losing to some Internet player who multitables 10 hrs a day and has played more hands in the last month - and for higher stakes - than they have all year.

Card professional Annie Duke will be the commissioner of a new league that is hoping to become the PGA of poker, defining the game's best players and hosting invitational tournaments for only its biggest stars.

Failed when poker was in its boom. Don't see how this will succeed.
