Heads up Hold'em

Hey, I want to practice some HU poker, anyone know of any sites offering play money HU?
Don't really want to start shitting my money away by playing real money. However small I play :)

Bodog won't let Canadian players in so... ugh

Is play money really good practice?

I'm asking seriously, because I would think that it would actually hurt your game. I think it would be much better to play for pennies, but at least real money.

FTP has heads up play money sits up to 1 mill buy in. some people accualy try in them but not all the time however, they can be fun.

Could be good if you found some good player to play you hu so you could learn cheaply. Otherwise, I would guess it would be pretty useless for game improvement.

And I believe Poker Room has HU play money tables.

The lowest I've seen are the $100NL HU tables at Cake. Do they go lower at any other site?

Stars has 50NL HU tables now.

Yes. FWIW, I think playing the play money tables would be a terrible way to learn anything about poker.

The lowest stars go is $2 but that is SnG, and I wanted to try out cash HU.

I guess play money can boost confidence, otherwise yeah, not that useful.

Yeah, and if I am lucky enough to play against someone willing to try with the play chips.

I'll play some play money with ya at some point if you cant find anyone else.

Ask Fildy, I bet he'll play.

He's broke and bored (probably)!!
