freeroll on party poker

ok so party poker has this freeroll every night and for some reason when I clicked to join it nothing happened. Was wondering if anyone been in these and if so what is the qualifications for joining it. Like do you have to have money in your account of certain amount of points, I see nothing that states there is any qualification to join it just wondering thanks in advance.

A tournament player I know tells me to stay clear of PP tournaments. Says that the whole setup is flawed and if you wanna play tourns, stick with the PS ones cause the structure is better.

I haven't played in any PP tournaments, so I can't say for myself. I think they start out with only like 800 chips or something? That's a little smallish.

Cheers,

Gutzz

PS. Do you guys agree that the PS tournament structure is better than the PP one?

PartyPoker MTTs start you off at 1000 chips. This is alot less than what you start off with at Stars, which is 1500.

What exactly is flawed about the Party tourneys? I can think of a couple things that could be corrected (i.e. knowing when tables will bust and being able to stall excessively at certain points of the tourney) but I don't consider these to be "flaws" as such.

I don't play MTTs on Party much anymore, but I used to very frequently. I'm curious to know what "flaws" might exist in the setup.
