I knew Prima would fuck with me

This is stupid, I have to deposit $20 that i'm not going to use, just to withdraw. I don't get it...

BrianSwa 12-08-05 08:54 AM

hmmmm

I told you that in that PM now didnt I? Just deposit $20 through your netteller account and withdraw it since you already have the raked hand requirements. All prima skins are like that.

Hawt 12-08-05 09:04 AM

Yeah thing is I only have like 40 raked hands not the 100 to keep the extra $10 since they have to be raked .25cents or more. I just deposited through neteller and I'm with drawing the $181.25. I was just hoping I would be able to get the money in Stars without Neteller showing up on my bank account. I just hope my parents don't recognize it and bitch at me.

PShabi 12-08-05 09:14 AM

So , I guess that $400 I won in the freeroll is going to be sitting there for a long time.

That's gizay.

Hawt 12-08-05 09:33 AM

If you want I can reverse my withdrawal, and you can transfer the $400 to me.(if they would let you? I think they would.) Then I will just withdraw it all, and transfer the $400 back once I deposit on Stars.

BrianSwa 12-08-05 09:36 AM

funny

its funny if someone else would of said that id be like yea right NUT, but for some reason i trust Hawt.

Hawt 12-08-05 09:40 AM

Yeah I'm not looking to mess with anyone, just to save him the hassel of depositing and withdrawing.

Can you even transfer on RoyalVegas though? I don't see the option.

Edit: I just called them up and they said that there is no transfer option. BUT if you win money in a freeroll, you can go ahead and withdraw it without worrying about depositing. Since it's something you won, not something that was given to you (like the free $10).

PShabi 12-08-05 11:02 AM

Cool,

Thanks for the info and the offer.

rookette22 12-08-05 11:09 AM

Hawt what happens if you lose the $10 & didn't rake the 10 hands? And where do I see how many raked hands I've made so far?

I shouldn't have gone there and just given back the $10; have I gotten myself in a mess of trouble or what?

BrianSwa 12-08-05 11:15 AM

no

you lose it you lose it. what the promo is they give you 10 bucks and give you a certain amount of days to clear so many hands if you clear it then you get that $10 plus whatever you make if you dont clear the hands they take $10 back and all you get is what you made.

the thing Hawt is having trouble with is getting the money he won out because they require deposit. Again you lose the $10 then its gone no biggie.

rookette22 12-08-05 11:18 AM

But if I lost it; how can they take the $10 back?

BrianSwa 12-08-05 11:19 AM

urggg

Read the bold, see above.

Hawt 12-08-05 11:32 AM

What happens is, they give you $10 for free to play with. But to keep that $10 you have to play 100 raked hands (the rake has to be more than 25 cents too). If you lose the $10, then the loss is on them. But say you do what I did. Say you turn that $10 into $160 like I did, but you don't have the 100 raked hands to keep the $10.

So when I go to withdraw, they will let me take what I have won (after I make a deposit which is stupid), but the $10 stays in my account since I didn't clear the 100 raked hands requirement. It is still there for me to play with until I clear the raked hands.

My problem was that since I made the $160 off of the free $10 they gave me, I wasn't allowed to just take it out. I had to make a deposit first. Which is stupid, since I am just depositing the $20 then withdrawing it along with my $160. It's not like I am going to play with that deposit.

To look at your raked hands on RoyalVegas, go to Menu then click "Raked Hands" and enter the date you started on.

However if you are only playing with the $10, I doubt you have any raked hands. I was playing at the .25/.50 tables with about $130ish dollars, and I only have like 20 or so raked hands. The pots just aren't big enough at that level for them to take a .25 cent rake. My only raked hands were real big all in pots and such.

My guess is that with the $10 you are playing either tournaments (which don't count for raked hands) or at the microlimit (ie. .05/.10) where they take very little to no rake.

rookette22 12-08-05 11:40 AM

k I finally understand what you're talking about.

Well I did the 2 freerolls, which I don't think count for anything. And I've been trying to go into the Omaha H/L .25/.50 tables but they're empty. No one plays them, I know I can win in Omaha H/L I'm real good at that game, so I went to play just some regular .25/.50 Hold'em tables and made like $2.50 at first, then lost the 2.50 + another buck from the $10 that's why I wanted to know what happens if I lose the $10.

thx for the info, I'm gonna go play only the .25/.50 tables from now on.

Hawt 12-08-05 11:43 AM

I wouldn't play the .25/.50 tables with just $10. You will be short stacked and have only like 20bb where as most people will have a couple hundred BB's.

I would go play the $2 sitngo's and build your bankroll by cashing in those. THen once you have more money, like $40-$50 then sit at those .25/.50 cash tables.

At least that's what I did.

rookette22 12-08-05 11:46 AM

Hawt? I went to look to see how many raked hands I had so far and this is what it says:

Your Raked Hands:
You have played 14 raked hands in this period (excludes hands played in the last 15 mins)

Hawt 12-08-05 11:49 AM

I think what might of happened, is...

Say you're in the big blind, and it gets raised really big so you fold. The two people in the hand really go out it and build a pot big enough for the .25rake. Since you have money in that pot even if it is only your .50 big blind, it counts as a raked hand for you since you were a part of it. Same thing for if you are small blind or if you fold on the flop or something like that.

I just checked my raked hands and it says I have something like 44 of them so I think that must be the case.

I still think you should play sitngos (specifically the 30 person $2 ones) to build your bankroll.

jillaj 12-08-05 12:23 PM

Hawt just open a new bank account that your parents won't have access to and use that for net teller.

Hawt 12-08-05 12:26 PM

Yeah thats what I have been thinking of, and I might do it once I get enough of a bankroll to start playing poker on a more serious level. I know that with Bank of America you can deposit straight to your Neteller account when you go into the bank.

I talked to my dad about it and let him know that I was just deposit to withdraw my $160 and he actually seemed kind of proud, but made me promise that I would at least put the $20 back into my account.

Talking Poker 12-08-05 12:48 PM

And for good measure, you should put $25 back into your account. Good job fessing up before it became a problem :)

As for the raked hands, most sites count it as a raked hand if you are DEALT IN to the hand, regardless of if you win, lose, or fold preflop. You don't have to put any money in. The hand itself just needs to be raked - at least 25 cents, in this case.
