I met this kid from school and I hadn't talked to him for a while. Anyways he called me last night, and I was playing online poker when he called. I told him to hold on so I could finish the hand and then sit out. when i told him about it, he told me that his father plays and that he talks to one of his buddies on the phone while the play the same table. This makes me wonder how many people are sharing their hands on line with another person, or more than one person. I dont know this kid very well and I am asking for advice to handle the situation. I could report them once I find out the address, but on the other hand I should probably mind my own business. Is this just a coincidence or do a lot of people collide?:confused:

Report collusion, period. You don't have to be public about it, but if you have valid suspicions, pass it on. I'd report my mother if I found out she was "Potripper" or doing something like you described.

I would use her account and use it wisely so I would never be caught. Or atleast get some cash from her.

But seriously report your mom? You wouldn't talk to her and get her to not use it?

Oh, sure I'd try, but my Mom doesn't listen to me. ;)

Seriously, if it was someone close, I would try to convince them that it was wrong first. If I wasn't "close" to the person though, I'd probably just report them.

Let these people know that support looks at hand histories looking for collusion like this. If they are suspected of collusion, they will lose all of the money in their account. Let them know that everytime they pull something like this they are risking everything in that account.
