In praise of Pauly
I've always enjoyed his stuff, but his WSOP coverage is particularly enjoyable this year, even if it seems to taking a toll on him. If nothing else, be sure to read WSOP Day 14: Lost Paradise He owes a huge debt to Hunter Thompson, but if you are going to pinch someone's style, it might as well be someone great. Also on the scene (former?) forum member Badblood |
I miss BadBlood - good guy.
|
He doesn't blog any more? I've seen him at the tables on 'Stars.
|
*sniff* I miss you guys too *sniff*
Oddly, well maybe perhaps not, most of my posting and viewing was from work. I'd suffered from the employer-based web-proxy filtering for quite some time. However, I've just recently located another corporate proxy withint the past couple of weeks and coincidentally thought, "Hey maybe the Talking Poker forum is accessible now. And poof, here I am. :) FYI: Still wear my TP hat on those occasions where I REALLY need to book a win. It rarely lets me down. |
When I bumped into Brad Otis (Poker Stars blogger) in the Bahamas this year, he told me you guys are from the same town and that you often wear your TP hat. I was so proud...
Glad to see you posting again. I'm working on a solution for the people who have proxy-filtering issues, but I'm not really sure how to do it, so it's not going to be ready any time soon. Have fun in Vegas! |
Wow, Eskimo Clark is falling apart. I kinda feel bad for busting him in event 3 now :(
|
No kidding. Scary stuff.
I think it's really sad that he is literally putting his life in danger because he owes people money. That's gambling, I guess. |
At least you can find Eskimo. Vinnie Vinh doesn't post for TWO day 2's! The first one he was the chip leader. Still pulls 20th and 22nd.
And also  to Pauly's blog...and Bad Blood's as well. |
