NL Cash Game Starting Hands Question
What are the correct starting hands for UTG?

Suited cards

There is no finite range of hands you always raise. You have to think of table dynamics, how deep you are compared to other players (so if other good players have bigger stacks behind you, you play tighter. if they are fish, you play looser), your image, ect. though.

Don't forget how many people are at the table, etc.

any two cards that add up to greater than 12, ex. 93 or T2

Yes, I forgot to mention I am playing at a full 9/10 player table.
Can someone give some advice as to what they would do with low to mid pocket pairs UTG? |
Limp/Call if stacks are deep enough and a lot of players see flops

ATC baby!!!!!!!!!!

I grind NL25 full ring.
I openraise all PP, unless table conditions dictate otherwise. This means that UTG I'm raising 22, all the way through to openraising AA on the button. I feel this is a great way to balance my UTG range, as PP are very easy to play post flop: CB+fold against almost any opponent. As far as straight up ranges UTG, I play AJs+, KQs, AQo+, PP. I raise all, don't limp any. This is virtually the same as UTG+1, but I will usually add in AJo and KQo from UTG+1. Playing position = $$$ |
