rate your play online vs b&m

just use a - or a / online on left scale of 1-10

bigjohnstud2o 10-23-04 06:08 AM

well not exactly like i thought it would be

just an avg on your play. Pick one box and your vote is in. You can reply to state the difference in your play.

I voted "1" as all online, as I have yet to play B&M. I am looking forward to giving it a try at either Turning Stone or Foxwoods in a few months.

Jackass_man 10-23-04 10:41 AM

Can you explain how this rating works? Say I'm a 8 online and a 6 B+M. I don't get this poll at all.

Talking Poker 10-23-04 11:22 AM

I have no idea how I am supposed to vote in this poll, or what we're expecting to see from it when the votes are in.

bigjohnstud2o 10-23-04 11:50 AM

i know i know

it was supposed to see the difference in online play vs b&m but the poll would not let me do it. Im not sure how you vote........it redirected me straight to it. It was more for information than anything

Talking Poker 10-23-04 12:25 PM

Would it be better to change the poll to say: "Do you play better online or B&M?" and have 2 choices?

johnbaker 10-23-04 01:04 PM

lol yeah, averaging=waste of time

bigjohnstud2o 10-23-04 10:28 PM

yea that would be better

just was not thinking on those terms at the moment

I do better when I can see the fear in the faces of my opponents.

i think i play equally well in both situations, but i feel much more comfortable playing b&m. i think i can set up a much better table image in person, and i like to exploit this. people will often make horrible calls when they think i am just another young male online player.
