your play depends on what type of players youre playing against.... personally i would bet about 2/3 the pot for information, you know youre only going to get called by a guy on a draw or MAYBE a guy with a set (anyone who just calls here with 2 pair with a flush out there is just asking for trouble, same with a guy with a set but i find that people ar ewilling to check/call slowplay on a flop with 2 of the same suit / 2 to a straight when they have a set) if youre against people who will call an all in on a big draw, let them do it when they have 1 card to come, not 2. charge them a nice amount on the flop anyways, that way the pot is nice nd juicy for them to call the rest of their chips off 3-1 on the turn. if they fold to your all in, then you're fortunate, but in tournaments i beilieve that this is the right play against any player who loves to chase, or even against a smarter player who will give up a draw on the turn; either way you get them to call as an underdog on the flop, and they are forced to make a very uncomfortable decision on the turn. if you know they have a draw and hit it on the turn, you can just fold and use the same play again later.... this play is a great tool for busting idiots in online tournies (it doesnt work as wel in person in my experience, maybe thats just because i play with better people in person than online)
