Hand of the night...

I actually logged a small winner tonight, but this was still my biggest and therefore favorite hand of the night.

As soon as he turned his cards face up, I started stack up my chips to slide across the table. Silly me was hoping he only had an overpair, cause I have enough trouble dodging 2 outs.... but dodging EIGHT, no way.

Oh, and I just ran some numbers - turns out the chances of the board pairing here were exactly 0%. Who knew???

Let's say the flop was 2:h: 4:h: 9:s:, and he leads out $64. What's your play in that situation?

Depends. We were three handed here, and even 6 handed, I know this player has a large 3 betting range. I was tempted to 4 bet him preflop but didn't want to get into a race.

I want to say that I'd still raise, but probably a bit less to not commit myself. If I made it $180ish to go, that should do the trick, and if he shoved after that, I guess I'd fold for $290 more. I dunno... It's hard to say.

I might just fold to his bet.
