Seat 5: mojoe_h collected ($10.25), mucked

Yeah, I could have fired at the turn but I thought a check behind was OK for pot control and b/c I thought he could be on the diamond draw (my read was he liked to chase, a lot). And, of course I can't call that river. FU Tilt.

so I will be the asshole here as most of the regular suspects aren't biting.

Umm, pot control on that turn is sucide. The phrase you want to investigate is "stack-a-donk" on that turn.

FWIW online poker is so rigged

Invigilator 05-12-07 09:40 AM

ouch

With flush and straight possibilities out there I really don't like the check. I am okay wuth the idea of pot control in general, but there are so many bad cards that could hit the river (as happened) that it is just not worth the risk. The board determines my action here. without a bet on the turn, I would not know where I stand after the river.

Invigilator 05-12-07 09:42 AM

oh

Hey, wait a sec. I just realized that this is in B&B and not Hand Discussions. If you'd like, I'll blow my analysis out my ear. Sorry if it was unwanted.

off to play soccer dad.

Reel Deal 05-12-07 11:39 AM

Blow me.

PShabi 05-12-07 11:43 AM

Having a rough go at it at FTP, huh? Me 2.

I've played 50k+ hand there at 1/2 6max and I've only managed 13ptbb/100. I'm patient though. I'm sure my luck will turn.

melioris 05-12-07 03:23 PM

First
1 ppbb =$4 at 1/2, so you are on a 26K tear? Nice run.

and nowcome on, I was gentle at least.

PShabi 05-12-07 04:33 PM

My bad,

7ptbb/100. Still goot. Must be calculated differently by the newer versions of pokertracker.

Talking Poker 05-12-07 05:06 PM

This is a little bit Off Topic, so maybe I should start a new thread, but meh.... I'm already here. So:

Someone please explain exactly how ptbb's are calculated and exactly what they represent. Why are they better or worse than looking straight at BB/100?

The numbers never seem to add up for me when I play with them.

Thanks.

Invigilator 05-12-07 06:18 PM

ooooo, ooooo, oooo. Mr. Kotter!

heck, if someone is going answer that, please start with what it is. (for a noob knob like me)

drewjax 05-12-07 09:24 PM

punk ass :donkey

Reel Deal 05-13-07 10:32 AM

Word.

Reel Deal 05-13-07 10:34 AM

OK, I'll be nicer now.

The guy admitted to me later that he had Adxd... so, while it's results oriented my read/play was right on this one. So... blow me. :D
