ElkY first to reach supernova elite

Did a quick search, but didnt see any mention of this anywhere. Delete if needed please.

ElkY wins race to Supernova Elite

Back in the days before ElkY was a member of Team PokerStars, he burned tracks in the first couple weeks of 2006 to become PokerStars' first Supernova. Most online players--even the high volume folks who see the sun once a week--couldn't believe how fast ElkY made it to what was then the highest PokerStars VIP Club membership level.

It's not been too long ago that PokerStars introduced an even higher VIP Club level--Supernova Elite. Members of the group get insane benefits, including 400% FPP bonuses, access to all VIP events, and entries into more than $20,000 of major tournaments. All it takes to become a member is a paltry one million VIP Player Points during a calendar year.

It took ElkY just a little more than four months.

This weekend, ElkY crossed the one million VPP mark to become the first member of the Supernova Elite level.

"It was really really hard work but I'm proud I still managed to be the first to get it," ElkY said.

Now, after four hard months of work, ElkY is going to take a short break and get ready for next month's World Series.

As both the first-ever Supernova and first-ever Supernova Elite, ElkY needs a new challenge.

First man on Mars, perhaps?

wow, do these ppl ever go out, i mean i think the only thing he did in those 4 months was play poker, maybe eat while playin, and i guess sleep

Windbreaker 05-26-07 05:04 PM

He lost about 250,000 on his quest to be supernova elite. Check his stats on sharkscope. Of couse he probably has some sort of rakeback deal with stars and which could mean he's actually up after this whole process. I believe bigjoe has gotten enough points and will be the first person to order the ashton martin.

sjay2k 05-27-07 12:29 AM

bigd007x 05-27-07 02:03 AM

LOL Dorkament.

Talking Poker 05-27-07 11:59 AM

Knock off the $250k from SNGs and we're left with $70k. What does that come out to? Like 45 cents per hour?

bigd007x 05-27-07 03:52 PM

dont forget about tables he doesnt do so bad at them plus he got 2nd in a ept event yea so i am sure ur all right hes a bad player to do all that.

Talking Poker 05-27-07 07:14 PM

Who said your boyfriend was a bad player?

bigd007x 05-27-07 07:19 PM

so making 45 cent a hour sounds good to you. well keep up the great work

Talking Poker 05-28-07 01:33 AM

You know I'm not Elky, right?

bigd007x 05-28-07 01:52 AM

well i am a retard what can i say:donkey

Talking Poker 05-28-07 02:03 AM

I don't know... That (and a glance through the rest of your posts) seems to pretty much cover it.

bigd007x 05-28-07 02:12 AM

ty i take that as a compliment

bigd007x 05-28-07 02:49 AM

hey tp whats ur pokerstars name i want to watch u play

Talking Poker 05-28-07 03:32 AM

I'm sure you do.

You know, for a guy who got banned from here for making worthless, annoying, random posts - only to BEG to be allowed back - you sure are headed down the wrong road again quickly.

bigd007x 05-28-07 05:39 AM

i dont want to be in ur forum if ur going to be unfair because someone doesnt agree with u.

Robbie Robb 05-28-07 08:01 AM

Believe me dude, it probably has NOTHING to do with someone not agreeing with him. It probably has more to do with the useless posts and the inane high-school-text-message grammar.

omahilo 05-28-07 10:00 AM

who the fuck is this guy who keeps sucking off elky?

Talking Poker 05-28-07 12:38 PM

*sniff sniff* You will be missed.

Funny thing is, the only things I disagree with you about are:
-The quality of your posts (they suck - do a search on all your posts and see for yourself)
-That I personally don't think 45 cents per hour is a ton of money.
-Oh, and I wouldn't marry Elky, even if he was into guys. I don't swing that way, but hey - nothing wrong with that. To each their own.

eejit101 05-30-07 06:44 AM

i dunno how elky can be winning, i really dont. Unless he is breaking even and just using the VPPs to buy a new house and stuff.
