Improving Full Tilt Lag?

I started playing again on full tilt, but everytime I play the software lags very badly. Is there something that you guys do to make it run smoother?

I am running windows XP SP2 and I don't have a lot of problems with FT lag in general. I have heard that FT has issues with Vista.

There are also issues with PAHUD and FT. When you lag, try to quitting PAHUD, wait until FT gets back up to speed, and then restart PAHUD. This is a major problem for me and I have to do this probably once an hour when playing. Josh (pokerace guy) is not going to fix the problem as FT is expected to addressing this problem in a forthcoming update.

PAHUD > Preferences > Full Tilt > Flicker Free Drawing.

Full Tilt doesn't lag for me and I play up to 8 tables at once, then again I don't used PAHud or w/e its called.

It lags for me occasionally, but never enough to actually be a problem (maybe 2 seconds max), even when I'm 8 tabling with PT, PAHud, and even the Sixth Sense db Aggregator running.

I have Flicker Free Drawing checked, as shabi suggests.
