I love that line - both the one he took in the hand and the one in the subject of this thread.

What am i missing? Button is always SB HU?

Robbie Robb 08-23-07 10:35 AM

Yeah, I borrowed it from a guy I know!

That, my friend, would be a small glitch in the converter. I was posting the small blind there. About that actually, I'm usually raising with J6s there but this guy would call almost any raise I fired so I started playing a bit more conservatively after I got tired of his 92o catching a 9 on the turn or something (again after I fire on the flop and he calls).

I *REALLY* am liking this HU thing.

One other funny story from last night. Different SNG. The table opens up and the other guy goes "Flip? All-in first hand?" I reply "No thanks" and get dealt something stupid. He's OTB so he jams and I fold. Second hand...

Pre-flop: 9:c: 8:c: (T$30)
HERO calls T$10 <- Didn't raise here as I figured he was just going to keep jamming every hand.
BB raises to T$70
HERO calls T$60

Flop: 4:c: J:c: 2:c: ($150)
BB bets T$140
HERO raises to T$1400
BB calls T$1260

Turn: 4:c: J:c: 2:c: 6:h: (T$2950)

River: 4:c: J:c: 2:c: 6:h: Q:h: (T$2950)

BB shows 5:s: 3:c:
wins T$2960 with a flush Jack high

That left him with 40 which he managed to build back up to 120 before losing. I'd have been seriously kicking cats if he came back from 40 to win...
