He has an 8 rarely if ever, the issue is I wonder if a 6 or mid pocket pairs call this shove often enough for you to question the play (in that spot u have 6 outs likely which probably makes up for it with a 28% chance of makin a pair still)

Yeah it is. Although, this guy was probably dumb enough to 3bet with something like A6 to "find out where he is".
