There are more than a few tournament director programs out there - any recommendations?

I use pokerclock.com

ITS FREE

I've played around with but didn't want to pay. Although, it does seem pretty kick-ass for handling EVERYTHING for a home game/league type situation.

Right now, I'm using the from Pokerroom. It doesn't handle things like table breaks and seating or track leagues, but it's a great, straight forward timer.

You actually "use" this? As far as I can tell it's not available yet - none of the links actually work on the website and it says "coming soon"...

I downloaded it like a year ago. They must be updating it or something.

I have a registered version of Poker Tournament Hero and I love it.

custom and preset blind systems
antes if you want them
customizable...
-layout
-background graphics,
-blind increase alerts
-break and 2 minute warning alerts (you can set notes like "chip up #25's)
it also keeps track of number of players, payouts, rebuys, add-ons

blah blah blah,

It doesn't do the dishes or cook dinner, but it's nice.
