In your shoes I would have lost a good deal more.

You own Slovakian shoes?

Kurn 02-11-08 12:03 PM

No, but were I in them, I would've lost more. Even in good old US shoes, I would've lost more.

Care to expand?

Kurn, results aside of course, can you please comment on where you would have been more aggressive? Are you CB-ing that flop after villain 3bet pre-flop?

Kurn 02-11-08 12:20 PM

Villain min-3 bet a minraise, so I have no clear idea how strong he is. Preflop I make it 4 to go and call if reraised.

I may indeed slow down on the rest of the hand, but already I've lost as much he did.

Talking Poker 02-11-08 12:57 PM

I'ts limit. Minraises are pretty much S.O.P.

I would have 4 bet preflop and then lead at the flop and the turn, costing me probably $2 more (assuming villain didn't fold on the flop), but possibly more if villain raised the turn. The river would have been as easier check/call getting better odds to pick off a bluff.

So yeah, that line would have "cost" me $2+ more, but it's a much better line.

Also, I pretty much never fold the river in limit, but we obviously can't beat anything here. As played, we are getting 7:1 that villain doesn't have a club. You could actually find a fold there if you think villain only bluffs there 10% of the time.

ROFLMAO :donkey

I'm usually the guy who catches this. :o :donkey :talktothehand

I still lose more. Even if I don't cap preflop, I checkraise the flop, lead the turn, lead the river and call a raise.

Talking Poker 02-11-08 03:38 PM

Why in the WORLD would you lead that river?

That is a CLEAR check/call.

Thank you!

Thank you for your comments.

I hope, I will be the one to board Royal Flush next time.:)

Have a nice day!
