Blind raising

Im hoping this isnt in a book out there somewhere so TP dont yell at me, does anyone else hate when someone raises their blinds and just call sometimes with marginal hands. I did this today and called with 7h9h and ended up making my straight to beat his AK. I know it was a bad call but was getting sick of my blind getting risen. Anyone else out there do this sometimes?

sometimes you gotta defend your blind with 79s... its not that bad IMO. If someone just limped raised the size of the BB I would call quickly with 79s hoping to bust him.

79s is an EXCELLENT hand to defend with IMO.
You do have to take a stand occasionally to send the signal youre not getting pushed around, and showing down 79s will do that and give you a good chance to pick up the pot.

I agree - ESPECIALY in NL where you can realy make him pay if you make your hand.
