Has this forum been slow for anyone else lately?

I'm timing it, and from the time I click, it takes 9 seconds until pages load for me. It seems all the waiting is at the front end, and then the page loads quickly.

Anyone else having this issue? Or it is just me?

OK, I must be having some sort of ie issue or something then. Because it's only this site, and it's driving me mad.

I wonder what it could possibly be........... :confused:

firefox 3 ftw.

I upgraded to ie7 (think I fear upgrades much, or put them off long enough?) and we're all better now. I figured ie6 would crap out on me eventually.

And yes, I know FF is 10x better than ie.

On that note, should I be upgrading to XP SP3? Is it safe?

I really hope this computer lasts long enough for me to completely skip Vista and go from XP to whatever OS comes next.

- (kde 4.1 isn't ready for primetime) - - and I can play poker with (I haven't tried it with a hud yet though) or I have a virtual windows pc with server (no sp3 for me). All of these except for vmware come with opensuse11 and are all free to use.

SP3 - I wouldn't.
