Final table appearance coming up?

It very well could be, I'll keep you posted (as always). I am sure I will go Mike Matusow and fuck this up, but it's looking good now.

Chip leader with 16 left.

Penguinfan 03-22-05 08:40 AM

15 left and I have the second place guy outchipped by 10G's almost.

Penguinfan 03-22-05 08:43 AM

Top 4 stacks all at one table.

ChipFish 03-22-05 08:44 AM

site and screenname?

Penguinfan 03-22-05 08:50 AM

UB penguinfan, Don't bother My AA just got cracked by the second stack with QQ

Penguinfan 03-22-05 08:52 AM

12 left and I am in 8th place. 800 chips with 11000 the average. This one will be hard to swallow if I finish 11th.

Penguinfan 03-22-05 08:59 AM

Thats 8000 chips

Penguinfan 03-22-05 09:04 AM

Made it only because busted 2 people out in one hand, otherwise it would have been tough.

If my AA hold up I have over 30 K of the 130K in play, oh what could have been.

ChipFish 03-22-05 09:06 AM

You are doing fine...
Blinds are still low and you're at a full table. Just relax a little.
Don't get silly.

Penguinfan 03-22-05 09:08 AM

5th out of 9 left with enough chips to play with, should be an interesting hour or so.

Penguinfan 03-22-05 09:16 AM

I'm not so sure the second biggest stack made a good call in that AA vs QQ hand where I lost a bunch of chips, the flop was Q 7 6 all clubs, obviously she had no club in her hand and when I came over the top with a 7K raise she should have been worried. One of my aces was a Club as well so I had outs even though I didn't know I needed them at the time, of course with a set of Queens she had out even if I had the flush. Not sure she should have risked her tournament with that board and having the second chip stack, thoughts?

ChipFish 03-22-05 09:21 AM

Good point.
Are you sure you should have risked yours?
Perhaps a call?
You were drawing to a flush.
Your A-A was no good as a pair, with that flop.
In my opinion.
No club on turn and facing a big raise means you lay it down.

Penguinfan 03-22-05 09:27 AM

I was the agressor, she just kept calling. I had to think she had top pair which my AA had beat, as well as the nut flush draw. I think she may have checked it down if I let up after the first big bet and saved myself some chips. I still think her call was questionable given the situation. If I bust her she goes from second stack to out of the money.

5th out of 5 left, getting real short, time to do something drastic.

Penguinfan 03-22-05 09:43 AM

On life support

BlibbityBlabbity 03-22-05 09:45 AM

Well that KJK flop helped :D

Penguinfan 03-22-05 09:46 AM

LMAO, yea flopping the nut boat and letting someone with 2-2 try to bluff you off of it never hurts.

ChipFish 03-22-05 09:47 AM

Hey!
Nice title to the post.
I'll have to try that. :)

Penguinfan 03-22-05 09:51 AM

Down to 4, but still the very smallest stack, but enough to play with.

Penguinfan 03-22-05 09:56 AM

Big stack is 2 seats to my right and is stealing my blind every time, gonna have to make a stand against him soon.

Penguinfan 03-22-05 09:59 AM

Down to 3, still the small stack, but anything can happen

Penguinfan 03-22-05 10:01 AM

And it just did, 3 handed 10-10 against AQ and he caught a Q on the turn.

3rd is a pretty good final table appearance, in my book.

:)

Penguinfan 03-22-05 10:06 AM

If those 10's hold up the other guy is on life support and I am close to the chip leader, close enough to put up a fight.

Final tables are like Chinese food, 10 minutes after you bust out up you want to make another one.

Spidey44 03-22-05 10:53 AM

How many were in the tourney and how did you do winnings wise? Nice work.
