They took issue to my challenge before the tourney and frequent updates near the end.

I tried to find the thread where they banned you, but I couldn't. What happened?

I just registered at their forum to see if I could find the thread you were talking about... don't see it, but I did find this nice compliment for the TPF crew in their tourney results thread:

Way to represent, people! We had less players than the other forums (I assume), and still took it down. I expect this tradition to continue if and when this league formally gets off the ground...

As for the smack talk, a little here and there in good fun is no problem, but keep it friendly, will ya? I'm sure you did Chip - All I'm saying is we don't want to scare anyone off from coming over here. In fact, we'd like to do just the opposite... maybe get some new users who have good things to contribute around here.

As I am clearly registered, with the same user name that I am using on their forum "ChipFish", I respond with:
3.Check again dipshit

It starts, and I provide updates when one of our guys becomes chipleader.

They responded with more namecalling.

I then responded with more updates at the end.
Including mentioning that we had 3 of the final 4 and top 2

I was then banned.

Oh the horror. :rolleyes:

Then I receive a lovely e-mail from EF Hutton of Protilt.net
I may post excerpts later today. We'll see.

Basically starts off with "Don't come into my house....." type 12 your old Bullshit..... I laughed out loud, I mean it sounds like the Wrestling on TV.

Well, I know we've had words in the past, but please - DO NOT BACKPEDDLE on this one. You really didn't do anything wrong. To be apart of an internet community (in this case - pokerplayers + message boards) requires some degree of thick skin. If they have such a problem with you going over there and bragging because over friendly competition, they shouldn't even be apart of this.

Seriously - don't lower yourself to the level of apologizing. If I recall correctly, someone over there got cocky w/ you first. Aren't you allowed to defend yourself?

LOL ... I can only imagine what the email says. Internet poker players getting their panties in a twirl and sand in their mangina over a $10 tournament. Classic.

Oh... and TP: this back and forth with other forums should be encouraged. It would make the tournaments MUCH more interesting if some of us created accounts on their site (and some of them created accounts over here) and we mutually talked trash.

Just to let you know, if ANY of you start talking about the pWo in the middle of a tournament, I will log off because of embarassment. Regardless of stack size.

Left a post on there for you chip its not as drawn out...I mean as detailed as yours :) but its how I see the whole situation.

I wish I could have played. I was finishing up my motion for severance (which was due tonight) for Pre-Trial Methods class.
