cleaning home chips

I have a set of composite chips that I use for home games, and theyre getting pretty dirty after about 8 months of use. I was wondering if anyone out there knows what is the best way to clean them? I know people who tried washing their own set in a tub with soap, but the chips just stayed slippery and instead of being dirty, they were hard to handle. Any advice would be appreciated. thanks

your kidding me right? try soaking them in hot water and soap or stop playing with pigs.

LOL, but that's mean.

I would honestly say that water is the only way to clean them. It would be the soap that makes them slippery, nothing else. So maybe a nice soak overnight in hot water would do the trick.
