What a way to end the night

Nasty.

I know you (being an omaha expert and all :D ) will appretiate that I have gotten much better at looking for these type of situations (where I not only have the nuts or close to it, as well as a draw to something better) since I have started playing omaha high.

They don't come along often in regular hold'em but I think I used to find myself on the other side of this matchup too often, pushing away with my overpair (not necessarily in such a bad spot as this, but still overplaying) or top pair, top kicker, etc.
