Just getting the first post out of the way

Does anyone know what the minimum deposits are for FullTilt and Pokerroom?

Thanks in advance

Important!

One big tip to getting started in online poker: If you're only looking to make a small initial deposit, AVOID the sites that offer a good 1st deposit bonus, so you don't waste it (unless it has a small max anyway). Interpoker is a good place to start, they offer 100% up to $90 EVERY MONTH, and the players are generally awful. :D

However, if you're only looking to make a small deposit, you'd probably want to play lower limits than those at Interpoker.

Lots of the Prima sites have decent signup bonuses which don't require a large initial deposit which you can work off at lower limits. Of course, that's usually the only bonus that you'll get from the site so if you're a bonus whore, you'll find that you're signing up at a new Prima site every other week :)

new low limits at Interpoker

They now have lower limit tables at Interpoker. I dont know how those relate to getting the bonus (be sure to check what they count as a 'raked hand') though.

Stars is also a good starting point, as they don't have ANY first time deposit bonus. When they have a bonus, it's for everyone - new and old players alike. And their minimum is $25.

Of course, Party is a great place to create an account (it's a must, eventually), and you can get $25 free on any deposit:

"Use Bonus Code 25BILLS to get a $25 bonus on your first deposit"

P.S. Welcome to the forum!

I am usually play live games at the local indian reservations. Awww so much fun.

Spare times I dab in online at PS. Never really tried another site till I read TP site reviews.

Going to give fulltilt a try - Just dont see any other site matching PS graphics and choice of games.

BrianSwa 06-24-05 11:17 AM

whoa

id hold off on full tilt right now they offer a 100% deposit bonus which you want to take full advantage of. Its a waste to just put on $50 for that plus it takes awhile to clear it if your playing micro limits. Id take TP advice and put it on pokerstars so you dont waste any free money.

what live casinos do you play? I fly free so I have played at a few, im trying to get down to florida to play at the hard rock seminole one.

I dont have a problem making larger depoists - was just curious about the min.

I am at Tucson, Az so I play the local Desert Diamond Casino in town and sometimes the The SUN Casino

When I have a chance I'll spend a weekend at Casino Arizona - hot action there with nice structures.
