PartyPoker vs PokerStars

Do you play on either, none or both?

Which one do you prefer?

Why do you prefer this one?

What do you think PokerStars/PartyPoker could/should to to make their sites better?

Basically, I'm after a pros/cons list for both sites.

Thanks in advance...

Charlie

What inspird this? I'm curious.

I plan on both. I prefer Party for limit games and short handed games. I prefer Stars for tourneys. I also like Stars a little bit better for NL cash games, but I know most people will disagree with me there.

Basically, I like both sites, but for different reasons.

I just can't stand the overall slow play on pokerstars, so I never gave it a chance. But I did like the few tourney's I've played there. Plus no rakeback/much fewer bonuses make if very unnattractive for most low limit players who bother to shop around a little before starting an account.

I agree with TP here, Party Poker will always be the best on bonus's. They are easiest to clear and they have them the most often. Pokerstars tornaments are great, you can usually get into a low buy in one and still have a decent prize pool because so many people enter them.

Where the hell have you been?

Hey Lou, I've been around (studying sure takes it out of you) - I pop in every once in awhile and scan the forums - I rarely have time to post though.

Thanks for your opinons everyone. My friend was interested in which site is better, and I haven't played poker for awhile so thought I'd get the experts' opinions on it.

Just started on PokerStars two days ago. I have to say the tourneys are much better there than on Party. However, the ring games on Party, especially the $100~$200 NL buy-in's, are too hard to pass up.
