Anyone going to play or try to qualify?

If so what events are you looking to play?

I have enough W$ from the WSOP satellites that I MAY play Event #1. I haven't decided to sell the W$ or use them to try and win a seat to the main event. The Satellites look very difficult for the main event (IE fewer players qualify each tournament and much higher buy-ins).

Actually I have ALMOST enough W$ to play event #1, but I would just pay the rest in cash.

You?

I haven't looked at this at all yet, but I suspect I will play. I played in a couple of events last year and enjoyed it.

Let's see, I'll probably play in Event #1, maybe #4, maybe #5 (that ones gets expensive), maybe #6, probably #8, and possible #14. Number 15 looks freaking sweet. I'll give it some serious though and definitely try a few satellites, if nothing else.

Interesting....

Didn't realize you could go use W$ in cunjunction with real cash.

Penguinfan 07-22-05 03:59 PM

Actually I am assuming you can. I have never tried before. I would think if you had $500 and the buy in was $530 they would use the 500 W$ then make add the $30 in cash.

Again, I am assuming here, feel free to correct me if I am wrong as that will impact my decision for sure.

you could always buy some W$ with cash if you only needed a small amount.

I wont be buying directly into any of the events but will def. play some sats to try to get in a few events.

Where did you guys find the explanation of each event, i see where it says there will be 15. But i don't see where it says which event is which.

On the PS main page click the 'event' tab...

then click the WCOOP tab then the main events tab.

It has all 15 events listed along with what each event is.
