Shitty beats

On the 2nd hand, unless the players of the type that will pay you off big time when you hit a non paint non 5 card hand, i think the PF limp is a little too loose from your position....maybe with one more limper in itd become worth it

Also your raise was too small on the flop (not like it mattered) you have both cards to the ass end of the straight, you need to make a strong raise here, you are vulnurable

Wouldnt of mattered though as he reraised all in...kinda funny I just responded to another post where the guy had AQ and this was the flop except the other guy went all in and the AQ folded. Anyway, same flop this guy made a loose call and got paid off when he got lucky he was far far behind

ANOTHER runner runner Flush Caught against me-
Pretty much, if you have 3 to the flush on the flop and ur against me in a hand, go all in, u will catch ur flush.

Awesome, Just lost AA all in to QK deep into a $10+1 on Stars. WE were both the chip leaders at the table too. He raised Big with QK, i re-raise all in, he thinks for awhile, finally calls, to see a
flop: 2Ak - sweet a Set!
Turn: 10 - I say "here comes the Jack"
River: Jack

And Once again I'm knocked out with another dominating hand PF.

stussy2k 08-03-05 09:33 AM

thats harsh. Its like the unibombers WPT comentary, where hes like, "when you get pocket aces and you win, its called sucking out." seems really appropriate here.

Tough Ones to throw McNugent

Not sure what you could have done differently. Based on the eventual winners hands, even an all-in would not have forced them to lay down. It just has to go down as a bad beat. That doesn't help the sting.

If it makes you feel any better, I was beat the other night badly and it cost me over $100. I had a boat (AA,666)
I was dealt pockets (As, Ad) the flop was Tc, 6d, 6h. I was out of position so I was following. I chose to not go over the top as my the player in position was betting away. The turn was a 3d. He checked and I bet. He called. The river was a freakin' 6s. He went all-in and I immediately called without giving consideration to what might be lurking.
He was holding the other 6 with a Q or something. It hurt and I was on tilt for the rest of the night. I have not played real money since. I get burned more on-line with the river card than imaginable. I play MUCH better in a real setting where I can read the players a little.

Good luck and keep the aloe vera close at hand!!!!
