MTT Strategy -- Blind Steals

At what point in an MTT do you believe bind steals from LP (Button/CO) begin to become worth it? At what point do you believe them to become almost necessary to do at least 1 out of every 2 times they are available?

The reason I think these questions are being overlooked, Zybomb, is because they are very difficult to answer (at least for me). While somewhat specific, they are still extremely general. there are so many factors that dictate how to play any given MTT - the buy in, your opponents, your stack size, your opponent's stack sizes, relative positions at the table..... I don't think questions like this have black and white answers. I hate to say it, but "it depends."

Typically though, I don't think blind steals are woth it early on. Late in the tournament, they certainly are. So at what point does this change in between? I'm not sure..... That's where "it depends."
