Hey the 1 year anniversary is coming up for the talkingpoker forum... I was just wondering if you had anything cool planned for the members who have been around since the beginning or anything planned at all for that matter.

October 13, 2004 was the official Go-Live date. And yeah, I'd like to do something...

Give me some ideas. Maybe a one year anniversary tourney with some added cash kicked in?

Im agreed. I am also ready and willing to help with the prize pool by making it like a 20 dollar tourney or something. I'm sure the regulars here are willing to do that too... Aeq owes me $30 so im sure he would be willing to donate 20 to me :D

You know it, kid. That $30 has grown nicely thanks to those soft Stars 6Max games. :)

I'm happy to see the forum is still alive, and while I prefer it to be small than out of control huge, I still think we have room to grow. I think we could easily handle 3-5 times the traffic we have now, and still keep the small community feel...

Let's all try to make this place grow in Year #2, shall we? :)

Outside of MTTs, it's the most addictive form of poker. I can't play a full table anymore.

Precisely. I sit at the BBJ tables (very rarely) from time to time, and I can't stand it. Sooooooooo boring, and it seems impossible to get a hand to hold up. At least in limit.

For NL, I don't mind a full table, but I still prefer 6 max.

P.S 6 MAX DOES RULE BABY!!!!!! I cant win at 10str, but i normally do ok at 6 or 5 max.

since TP started posting about 6 handed I also have fallen in love with them. I actully got my buddie to start playing 6 handed and he also dosent play full tables anymore.

Bad Beat Jackpot. terrible, terrible players who will chase anything and everything, but the tables are 10 seated.

BBJ= Bad Beat Jackpot.... basically you got guys who only played pocket pairs above 8 and suited connectors in hope of getting 4OAK or a straight/royal flush.
