PPM Cruise Steps...
These look interesting (very beatable):
I think I may take a few shots at these. I'll probably start one Level 2. Starting at Step 2, you need to finish (1 or 2), then (1, 2, or 3 (4 is a redo)), then (1 or 2 (3 is a redo)), and then you have to win Step 5 (2 and 3 are redos). There are also other finishes that move you backwards in the steps but keep you alive. |
Thats what you consider doable? Winning 4 straight SnG's?
|
You don't have to win them.
|
Just the last one?

See post above or follow the link. I already typed it out once :)

Silly fungus.

I'll say!

Isn't that exactly the way their STEPS SNG's work ? Or is it different somehow ?
|
Heartbreak would be 4th place step 5. :(

Let me give you some stuff to think about. I tried step tourneys to get into the WSOP main event. I actually got to Step 4 (twice), the $500 entry.
Here's what generally happens. As you progress up the steps, the SNG's become filled with rock gardens. If you're not willing to gamble it up and finish 7th or worse, you'll become just another short stack at a table of them when the blinds make it an all-in fest. Then it becomes just gambling with any two cards. If the structure were any better, for example like a Stars SNG, then I'd recommend these things whole heartedly. But as they stand now, my hunch is that you'll find them nearly unbeatable at the higher steps, unless you get really, really lucky. |
