Proposal for a new/next contest
 

We all know that TP has been very good to us by having various contests and/or freerolls. Should this fortune continue to shine down upon us, here is a proposal for the next such event. The concept is simple really and probably most effective for a freeroll type event.

-Everyone registered at the site at the time of the contest start is eligible for the contest.
-The contest will run for a pre-determined amount of time
-At the end of above mentioned timeframe, the forum members remaining in the contest will be eligible to play in the freeroll

So, how do you make it to the freeroll you ask? The answer, my friend, is simple:
Stay on topic in the forum threads.

That's it. Nothing more. If you deviate from the thread topic (such as the current sports discussion in the 'Post you pic 2' thread) you're done. Your name gets scratched from the invite list.

I was 8 years old. This is bringing back so many memories, I can't wait to get this thing. I've told my son stories about Payton, the defense, and Ditka. Now he's going to get to watch the whole thing.

When I eat chinese food, I generally have a hard time deciding what to get.

My faves include: Honey Garlic Chicken, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Moo Shi whatever, and I like Lo-Mein.

I pretty much enjoy all of the appetizers too. Egg Rolls, Rangoon, Wontons, soup, you name it.

Nothing I really don't like.

Oh, looking back, I realized I forgot to mention a rule: anyone desecrating THIS thread is automatically disqualified for when the contest starts AND they have to follow TP to the WSOP and shine his shoes for him whenever he asks....with their tongue.

Hot tea if I'm in the restaurant.

You know speaking of food reminds me of board games. Anyone here play Risk 2210? It's a great strategy game and much better than the original.

It seems like a good idea but with so many new threads and posts everyday it would be a real bitch to keep track of.

I'm just the idea guy. :D I leave implementation and operation to the pros.
