Bust em Hands

I'm just curious cause I find myself doing this once in a while. Do you guys ever play a hand just for the hell of it. For example lets say the blinds are 15/30 and a guy makes it 150. Your not blinded or anything your just acting after him and your cards are like 4-8 unsuited. Will you ever just call his raise in hopes maybe you hit like a straight or trips or something like that, just to bust a guy who you know is holding a monster?

Yeah this is what suited connectors and small pairs are for, since they give you the best chance of busting a big hand. 48 however is a weak hand that calling 5x with is almost always a mistake.

If the blinds are small and I have a big stack, I'll make plays like this to mix thing up... but not with 84, no.
