pockerace HUD vs. GameTime+

Well obviously GameTime+ is free, but yeah...

Preference? Reasons why, etc...

I remember Shabi mentioning pokeraceHUD so I decided to look into it.

Any information about either would be useful. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure we've had threads comparing the two of these before, but I don't feel like trying to find them.

I prefer PAH, and think it's worth the money (although I have yet to pay). IT supposrt more sites, is more userfriendly (more customizing and less clicking to get it going, etc). It's just a better product.

Ah I found an old thread about it...

So even if your opponent mucks their cards and doesn't show them, pokeraceHUD will show you what they were? Isn't that kind of Annie Duke-ish?

Almost all sites (except Cryptologic) tell the mucked cards in their hand histories. PAH just makes it easier to view them.

Personally, I prefer Poker Ace Hud.

It just saves you the trouble of having to get the HH and check for yourself, but yes, this is a very nice feature.

I have no idea what the Annie Duke comment is about.

Hawt 12-16-05 05:53 PM

I never knew that sites did that heh.

With the Annie Duke comment I was referring to the time at the WSOP when some guy mucked his cards after winning a pot and said "Aces" and then she looked at them and said "Just Checking".

You can ask the dealer to show them in that very situation in live play. Her looking on her own is kinda weak, but not against any rule.

She should just say, "let me see those" and he would touch them to the muck and expose them for the table to see.

Talking Poker 12-16-05 06:21 PM

It's still not cool to touch other people's cards.

And if she reached into the muck and pulled them out, that's a BIG no no.

Hawt 12-16-05 06:45 PM

I think it was a different situation than what you guys are thinking though.

He raised on like the turn and she folded, so he mucked his cards, and then she looked at them. It wasn't like it was a showdown after the river or anything like that. Are you still allowed to look then? I have always thought it was like "you have to pay to see them" so just checking.

Talking Poker 12-16-05 06:56 PM

Yeah, if there's no showdown, that's not cool.

PShabi 12-16-05 07:01 PM

Whoa. Didn't know that.

I'd punch a dude in the face for that.

If Annie did it, she'd be reminded of that.
