Is it possible to cheat at online poker?

I've had this question for a while. I used to play on a site (won't mention the name) til someone told me people on the site used gagets to cheat. Is this possible? Does anyone have info on this? It would be appreciated.

You can easily cheat by colluding. Using instant messengers or even a telephone you could talk to your partner in crime and tell eachother your hole cards. It doesn't guarantee a win, but it gives you an edge over everyone else at the table. As far as special gadgets to see other peoples cards, that's bullshit. There's no way to do that. But some people go as far as making multiple online accounts at the same site and playing all of the accounts at the same time, in the same tournament. I've heard about a pretty popular player doing that at Stars. Noah Boeken I believe. I think that's fucked up. I wouldn't worry about it as much in the low limits. The higher limits are where you have to be careful.

I Always Look At A Table First Before I Play To See Where The Players Are From And If They Play Against Each Other. When I Playing Hign Stakes

the biggest thing is do your research. watch how your opponents play. if you feel like someone is winning way too much, or the same 2 people are winning, don't play there. even if its just luck, you don't want to risk it when the stakes are high.

In otherwards if you see two players from the same town they could be colluding or whatever its called. I never thought about that. thanks
