New Home Game
I recently moved to a new city and was asking around at school about home games they have here. There is a HUGE variety of games .05/.10 NL to 2/4 NL and sng from 5$ to 50$ buy in. The problem is that i have heard the words "Stack the deck" one too many times. Now i was wondering should i wait and try to get my own Legit game going or should i test the waters.....Go to a game with the min buy in and see how people act what they do and what not. You guys have a lot more experience with games than i do and i was wondering if any of u had any experince in the matter. Now if i were to test a game and find someone cheating i would definately now play at that game any more but i wanted to see if u knew any other ways of finding out how legit it was.... Thanks

Yeah, we're all experts on high school freshman home games.

wow pshabi to the rescue with a smart ass comment, and i meant any home game not a high school one...u cant tell me u havent been to a game where someone is cheating
|
Yes, I can.
|
well then obviously u are very niave because i dont know who said it but one of the pros said that at the '05 wsop he didnt sit at a single table where at least one of the cards were marked....last i checked that was cheating
|
It's "naive."
And are we talking about my fucking home game or the WSOP? |
a home game, but i was asking for anyone that had dealt with someone cheating....i havent dealt with it that much, my old home game was str8 clean and i figured u guys have prolly dealt with cheaters a little more than i have given the age difference and all (P.S. thanks for the correction on my spelling i figured i had it wron but didnt want to take a break from my ranting to check)

Just be careful. If you catch them cheating, either call them on it, or just walk out.
"Stacking the deck" isn't easy to do. Should be pretty obvious if a new unshuffled deck is brought into play. |
