Go ...Go ...Habs!

Finally ...they're showing us, "the fans"....some Hockey!

3-0; yesterday's win against (Boston) Bruins.

&

5-0; today's win against (Phi )Flyers.

Congrats to Huet's shutout!

Theodore gets the mills and Huet does all the hard work, hehe...funny huh?
Least Huet's making a good name for himself...that guy's good!

stars>canadiens

rookette22 02-05-06 11:27 PM

Can't really argue with you there. Stars are positioned very nicely with... I think 75 pts?, while Habs are struggling at 56pts.

I'll get back to you when we win the Stanley Cup! (as if we have a chance in hell this year) lol

But hey....then again; you never know.

i dont get hockey over here now its all changed. Damn shame, i used to lowe the red wings. Who are the Habs???

rookette22 02-06-06 12:14 AM

:eek:No hockey? What a shame!

Habs: the Montreal Canadian Team. (YaY)

eejit101 02-06-06 12:18 AM

thanx. And do the red wings still play? We do get hockey, but its on NASN, and thats extra $$$ per month, and a bit expensive when there is no MLB on, so i cancel it until May. Gotta get my fix of the braves when they are on:D

ANyone know if there is a way to get ESPN in europe (UK)????

rookette22 02-06-06 12:29 AM

Detroit (Red Wings)... yep. They're 2 pts above Dallas...at 77; btw.

shouldnt you have been watching the superbowl rather than following this skating stuff?

(oh god the canadians are gunna pounce on me now)

rookette22 02-06-06 01:02 AM

Canadians played early today. (hmm...skating stuff?) This is HOCKEY! Don't you follow it?

I wouldn't miss the Superbowl for anything!

I was actually glad that the Steelers won... btw. They deserved a win. Old timers you know. ;)

Zybomb 02-06-06 01:05 AM

Used to be a Ranger fan when I was a little kid, but never really followed after i was 10 or 12 or so

rookette22 02-06-06 01:20 AM

My dad used to buy season tickets. He'd always take me. I guess that's why I like hockey so much. It's my 2nd favorite sport, my first is soccer. Then comes football & baseball.

eejit101 02-06-06 01:23 AM

SOCCER GAL!!!! You need to move over here, much more loved sport. And its called football, we invented the damn game:D UKfootball/baseball/NFL/hockey is the way

rookette22 02-06-06 02:00 AM

Hmm... Do you have an American type football as a sport, and if so what's it called?

eejit101 02-06-06 02:04 AM

we play american football over here, but its not on TV and played with a crowd of about 12. We have the game of rugby, which im sure youve heard of. England are the current world champions, but not for long. COME ON WALES. Its not as tactical as NFL stuff, but a lot more brutal. Ladies love to watch it apparently, hunky men running round in shorts:confused: doesnt intrest me, "soccer" is the game of choice. 10 million out of 60 million population watch it on tv each week, not bad percentage.
