$500,000 guaranteed at Pokerroom
For all you high rollers out there, this weekend is a $1000+0 at pokerroom. Here are the details
"(Saturday) is the first day of the $1,000+$0 Grand Tournament VI with $500,000 guaranteed! Each player in this tournament will start with 10,000 in chips and the blind levels will be 30 minutes long starting at 25-25. This flight will end after 6,5 hours of play and continue with the remaining players at 15:00 on Sunday the 12:th of February." I don't kwow if you can registar for it through one of the skins. I certainly will not be playing in it, but if someone from here does play in it, let us know and I'll railbird you if I am around. |
The $0 rake is nice but I would think the $200+$15 $750k on Stars would be a way better deal. The structure sounds neat but who wants to waste that much money and time when they could be playing in the 750k or even the $500+$30 1mil guaranteed
|
Wow, I had no idea that Stars had such good tournaments. Do they run those monthly? If I had the bankroll, skill, and time for these events I'd buy Virtual PC for the old mac and fire up Stars.
|
They are weekly. As are the Party 500K guaranteeds.
|
what you need to realize is the guanteed prize pool money often becomes irrelivant, since there are always enough players to not only cover it but increase it.
but I agree 1000 buy in and 500k guarenteed is only 500 people to break even, i wonder would this site get it? gotta love the blind structure though |
Almost makes up for the software. Almost.
|
The blind structure is very nice, as is the Rake Free... It's tempting, but I think I've bought into enough $1000 tourneys for a little while... :o
|
Yes, and you're definately buying in to too many $10,000 tournies OH WAIT!
:D |
Not the most confident of players thn! Lol. I really need to get cracking on stars, i think JD needs a run for his money in the TLB one day....
