pacific poker showdown survivor series

I think that takes the cake as the worst promo i've ever seen for online poker... the gist is whoever sees the most showdowns during a certain time period gets some cash prize.... geez, you have to make it to the last hand of the betting round and it has to be a raked hand.... who would actually play these games hoping to win the survivor series????

I'm guessing it worked for pacific cause they're doing it again for dec (site isn't updated yet, still has nov stuff on it)

That might be a very profitable time to play....
Don't try and win the contest.... Take the money from those showing down everything...

A tip for you.... follow the leaderboard for this promo if there is one....
Add all of the leaders to your buddy list and chase them around.... You just know they will be calling 2nd pair low kicker to the river. ;) :D

That's why I kind of like the Bad Beat tables at Party...
Sure the rake is bad , but the players are playing everything pre-flop.
Easy Money...

Desperate attempt to jack up the rake.

So the fish at Pacific will be even more 'fishy'. Sweet. Do they have a buddy feature at Pacific?

Not that I know of.. but i'm only using the java version of Pacific (behind firewall, so my options are limited, hence playing at Pacific)
