I've been playing in the $2+R sats into the daily $33R qualifiers. I've played 3 and qualified twice. I'm unregistering from the $33 right now and using the W$ to fund the $2R tourneys. My goal is to get enough W$ to buy me into one of the bigger ones. The $2R are almost like shootin' fish in a barrel.

I hate to sound like a NOOB but what does $2R and W$ stand for?

$2R stands for a $2 rebuy tourney. The nice thing about these ones is that they are turbos with blinds going up every 5 minutes so they don't last long. You only start with 1000 chips and after the rebuy period (30 mins) you can do a final addon of 1500 chips for $2 more.

W$ is an alternate form of currency that PokerStars uses. It is used to buy into certain events (currently can be used to buy into any of the WSOP & WPT events that PS is running). The other alternate currency you may sometimes see referred to on here is T$. These are similar to W$ except they can be used, as far as I know, for any SNGs or MTTs that PS run. There are some people on this forum that are willing to buy T$ and/or W$ should you ever come into them. From the looks of it, they offer VERY good exchange rates.

Me and JD are teaming up to bring you guys something huge. Wait for an anouncement in the next couple weeks, after School slows down a bit.

Cool. Hopefully by then I'll have a decent pile of W$. I think I'm gonna play one of the $16 Double Shootouts to this Sunday's $615. If I make it, not sure if I'm going to play or not...be VERY tempting....
