How many hands in a SNG?

Heres an interesting question I was asked yesterday. On average, how many hands are played in a 10 person sng? Anyone got the answer to this?

I worked this out for me the other day. It all depends on blind levels to be honest, and how they go up.

Heres by stats for parsdise...
10 $33 SnGs

blind levels - 5/10, 10/20, 15/30, 30/60, 50/100, 100/200, 250/500, 500/1000

The everage hands it took to finish it was 76. The average hands per tourney i played was 69.

I won 6, came third 4 times. Thats one hell os a VPIP or whatever it is on tracker:D :D

Sounds like a profitable night. Im not much of a sng player myself and I wasn't about to go out and play a bunch to figure this out. Thanks.
