I still hate the cartoon interface, but it's quicly becoming my favorite site because the tourneys don't draw monster fields, the Iron Man thing and newly added leaderboard for all level and types of play.

Yea, the cash game selection is still not what it needs to be, but every now and then you can watch Matusow and Ivey go at it while Mike calls him a fish constantly.

Agreed.... I like Full Tilt too and can picture them being one of the big boys for years to come.

Their version of the WCOOP (the FTOPS) begins tonight. I'll be playing in Event #1 - $216 NLHE, $250k guaranteed. I predict there won't even be a layover.

I was going to play their first event, but apparently the max entrents of 2000 was met when I was going to register. Why exactly is there a cap of entrants on an online tournament?

I would answer that if I could. I have NO IDEA why they would do that.

Software limitation? Nothing else makes any sense.

Edit: I noticed they added an FTOPS Event #1.5 that starts at 6:45. That's REALLY stupid - especially if it counts towards their leaderboard standings, etc.

how many chips you start with in this TP? I'll prolly rail alittle on and off to see how your doing.

oh wow the FTSOP event #1.5 WILL count towards the point, thats fucking dumb IMO. They should of just let whoever wanted in #1 to get in.

Just shows that no matter how good a site is, it will always be #2 behind pokerstars.

How do you know they are counting it towards the leaderboard?

That's REALLY bad, since a lot of people probably didn't even know that event was happening. I just happened to notice it. I decided not to play in it, but I was on the fence... had I known it counted for their leaderboard, I probably would have played.

Ugh - I just got distracted (phone call) and played a hand really badly. I suck. Still in, but hurting...

when they were advertising the tournament on your table in red letters, at the bottom of the ad it said 'points will count towards leaderboard.'

also when you go to event #1.5, in the white box describing the tourney, it will say 'pts count towards FTSOP leaderboard'.

I hardly ever even look at the chat box when I'm playing at Full Tilt for some reason.

Oh well. I'm not playing that great today anyway....

At least things are running normally online...

I just got all in with QQ vs JJ preflop for a 5000+ chip pot.

Naturally, he spiked a Jack on the flop. I was actually open ended after the turn, but we all know I'm not winning that matchup. No sir.
