Donkey Chat Quote of the Day

I used to pride myself on being civil to the fish, but recent shitty runs have made that all but impossible. Playing 5/10 today, some donkey limps in on the button and the SB folds. I'm in the BB with 1010, so naturally, I raise.

He 3-bets me. Hmmm, limp/reraise. So the flop comes down 975, he bets, I call, intending to raise a safe card on the turn. Turn is a brick, and he bets, I raise, I get 3-bet. Okay, maybe he has a big pair.

River is a 7 and he bets and I call. He turns over 97. Naturally, this expert play receives a "lol" from me. He says something like, "You're alright," to which I replied, "nice limp reraise."

His response was:

"I'm playing on intuit."

Oh, my bad.

lol wtf is intuit?

PShabi 08-27-06 12:37 AM

I'm guessing an abbreviated form of "intuition." So, he had a gut feeling that 97 was going to make a boat.

How can I compete with that shit?

omahilo 08-27-06 12:44 AM

lol it is pretty hard to compete with that...

and intuition makes sense.

I'm guessing it was either the name of his imaginary friend or a pet name for his bong.
