My first MTT win!!!! (sort of)
 

Withdrew most of my money from various sites to cash in on the Party re-load bonus and had $6 left in Absolute because I finished off my bonus with the last few hands I played. Bought into a 5+1 game while watching the Steelers game this afternoon and didn't realize it was a limit game and thus only drew 45 players. I outlasted the field and took down the whopping $90 first prize :rolleyes:

I know, I know, it was basically a glorified sit and go, and not a bunch of money, but you gotta start somewhere and I'll take it for now.

The irony here is I keep cashing out of Absolute to take advantage of other bonuses and I am probably doing MUCH better there than ANYWHERE else. Wonder when I will learn.

Congrats! Anytime you can make it to the final table or even to win it all it's something else. Did you clear the entire 210 dollar deposit bonus? How long did it take and what do you play?

Thanks. I did not clear my Party bonus yet, need to get working on it because you only have a week to play all those hands. It shouldn't be a problem, looks like about 3-4 hours total at any limit 1/2 or higher.

I was actually referring the absolute bonus. I was thinking about joining there. But was wondering how hard is it to clear that entire deposit bonus they have available.

It took almost no time at all to clear the Absolute bonus. It is similar to Ultimate in that you have to get 100 points to get $10 cleared, but they don't give out the gay tenth of a point for smaller rakes, you either get a point or nothing. Play the 5 max game and your cleared in no time at all.

Good site, you won't be sorry if you try them out, especially if you play MTT's. I am pretty average in those and I made 3 final tables and obviously won one of them.

Got to love winning a tourney you bought into by mistake! Question for you -- how long does a 45 player limit tourney take? I figure that with limit like that, you are looking at some serious time compared to half the field busting out in the first half hour.
